Operation Ornaments relies entirely on volunteer work and donations from people like you. There are many ways that you can participate!
Make and Donate Ornaments
The primary type of donation we receive is, of course, the ornaments themselves. We couldn’t do what we do without them! If you are interested in making ornaments to donate, please see our Instructions page for details.
Donate Money or Supplies
Operation Ornaments is a non-profit that relies completely on generous individuals to cover the costs and materials associated with distribution and running the organization. If you would like to help with a monetary donation, please use our GoFundMe or Venmo. If you would prefer to mail us a donation, please contact us at info@operationornaments.org for the address. If you would like to donate supplies, please go to our Amazon Wishlist. Every donation makes a difference!
Fundraising

Volunteer
For every community that we serve, we need local volunteers to help receive, store, and sort the ornaments, as well as coordinate with local organizations to distribute them to the survivors. If you live near an area affected by disaster and are interested in and capable of becoming one of these coordinators, please email us at info@operationornaments.org.
As we continue to formalize and expand our efforts, we also have many more organizational needs that we need help with. We are currently looking for volunteers to help with public outreach, maintaining a social media presence, and running our website. If you want to volunteer your unique skills to bless the lives of donors and recipients alike, please contact us at info@operationornaments.org. We’d love for you to join us!
Tell People About Us
Lastly, the primary means through which people hear about us is word-of-mouth. By letting other people know about our organization, you will do a lot to help us gather volunteers each year so that we can continue to do what we do.
